Urban beauty

Hello!

Hope you all enjoying the beautiful sunshine today? I've had a very 'homemade' day today, I've made a cake, a loaf of bread and a card! This card was made using a Bister background, a portion of a large Carabelle Studio stamp, my fave poppy from Stampinback and the amazing water trickles from Designs by Ryn.

Thank you for visiting! Xxx

More watercolour fun!

Hello bloggers!

I had another play with watercolour and salt. A few people asked how I made this background so I'll give you a description. I scribbled onto watercolour card with Tombow pens, spritzed with water and then sprinkled on some salt. It was left alone to dry naturally and then the salt was rubbed off. Et voila!

I used the lovely Maidenhair Fern stencil from Designs by Ryn with Inca Gold paint in Silver and the small butterfly from Visible Image. The sentiment is one of Sir Tim's!

I hope you like it! Thank you for visiting, big hug! Xx

Designs by Ryn, Twinkling H2Os and Bee Crafty.

Hello!

Well, my Stampotique pieces went down like a lead balloon, so I've gone back to the beautiful Hibiscus stamps from Designs by Ryn because I know you all love those haha!!

I stamped and embossed the flowers and coloured them with Twinkling H2Os from ColourArte. The background is Tumbled Glass Distress Ink with a baby wipe dabbed through the Petals stencil from The Artistic Stamper. The girl on the swing is a Banksy Inspired stamp from Bee Crafty. I hope you like it...

Twinkling H2O colours are: Wisteria, Blushing Rose, Cranberry, Blue Grass, Pretty Peridot.

Stampotique cutie!

Hello bloggers!

Hurray, I'm finally on holiday! Time for puppy and craft, lovely.

I made this little piece using an acrylic painted background with a couple of Stampotique stamps. I know they're not to everyone's taste, but I have to say I love them! This little chap looks so earnest and eager to please, bless him lol.

Hope you are all enjoying your crafty times too, big hug! Xx

Stampotique and Designs by Ryn!

Hello bloggers!

Sorry I haven't been around much lately, my little pup is keeping me very busy! This is my last school week though and then it's 5 weeks of summer holiday, so I'm itching to get inky again...

I made a marbled paint background for this piece, blue and green just say 'sea' to me so I topped it with Smushasha, the mermaid from Stampotique, and the lovely Rising Bubbles from Designs by Ryn. Hope you like it!

Thank you for taking the time to visit, big hug! Xxxx

Crafty Individuals and Carabelle Studios.

Hello bloggers!

I've been so busy with our beautiful new Cavalier puppy, Alfie, that I haven't had much time to craft! But I've been inspired by the Crafty Individuals challenge this month, which is 'Face Value' and this is my entry!

I stamped the Carabelle background in Versamark ink and embossed in clear powder, then I rubbed Aged Mahogany Distress Ink over the top. The Crafty Individuals lady was stamped and cut out, coloured with Distress Inks and popped on the card with sticky pads.

I hope you like her! Many thanks for your lovely comments recently and a big thank you and welcome to my latest followers! Xxxx

Here's our new fur-baby, little Alfie!
