Dina Wakley - Scribbly Birds

Hello lovelies!
I've spent hours this weekend making this 12" by 12" piece, phew! I just love these scribbly birds from Dina Wakley, so many ways they can be used.... The background is made with Dylusions inks with a Crafters Workshop stencil. The leaves are a Dylusion stamp and the tree branch is a Tim Holtz die. I hope you like it, I'm pleased with it! :D
Thank you for visiting, much appreciated! Xxxx

Designs by Ryn - Ornate leaf set

Hello blog friends!

I've been playing with some Dylusions inks and making a pile of backgrounds... I decided to add some of Ryn's Ornate leaves (www.designsbyryn.com) and a sweet little bird to make this project!  A touch of white gel pen adds a little lift to the leaves.

I hope you like my colourful project!  Thank you for visiting, much appreciated! xxxx

Loving Seahorses by Designs by Ryn!

Hello Easter bunnies!

I hope you are all having a lovely Easter break?  A fab opportunity to do some crafting! :D
I'm loving Ryn's Seahorses at the moment, and also my watercolour 'stuff'....  The fabby Mackintosh sentiment is another from the Chocolate Baroque set.

I think Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress Inks were just a match made in heaven!

Just a touch of good old Stickles to make this little Seahorse chappie look sparkly....
Thank you for visiting again, big hugs to you all, I really do appreciate all your lovely comments! <3

Chocolate Baroque stamps, yum!

Hello lovelies!!
My new Chocolate Baroque stamps arrived yesterday, ooh happy post! :)  I was all overcome, you know that feeling when you get lots of new stamps and you just don't know what to do first??  Well, I fiddled about and made lots of rubbish bits that ended up in the bin, then I found a background that I made a while ago with Dylusions inks... and this is what I made with it.....

Isn't she beautiful?  What a lovely face.  I coloured her and the flowers with Inktense pencils.  I hope you like it, I'd love to read your comments on it! xxx
I'm entering this in the Rhedd and Rosie challenge, Anything goes.

My last sample for Craftyhands, using Stampinback stamps.

Hello lovely blog people!

This is my last make for the Craftyhands design team, :(  I've had to say goodbye to the team as my Open Uni study has become very intense this year, and I can't do everything unfortunately!
Anyways, this fortnight the theme is Anything Goes!!  Always a good one! :)  Pop over to the challenge blog HERE.

The stamps are all from Stampinback, and the film strip and tickets are from Tim Holtz.
Now the prize this fortnight is simply Gorjuss!!
Go for it crafty peeps, make anything you fancy, good luck!   Thank you for visiting, big hugs! xxxxx

A little bit of Tim...

Hello lovelies!

I had a play a few weeks ago, with Tim Holtz's stamps and his tattered leaves die. I coloured the leaves with distress ink and then covered them with crackle paint, hubby thought they were real! (Mind you, that was from a distance lol!). I stamped the leaf on watercolour paper and coloured with vintage photo distress ink. The ribbon was coloured with DI to match, I hope you like it! Thank you for visiting and big hugs if you have left me a comment! Xxxxx

A card made by my mum, for Ben!

Hello blog friends!

It's my son's birthday today, and he received this lovely card in the post, made for him by his Nanny (my mum), Penny!  Isn't it fab?  Makes me think of super summer days.....

The beach huts are from Little Claire and the birthday sentiment is from Lily of the Valley.  I don't know where the cute banner stamp is from, but I want one lol! :)
Thank you for visiting, and I'm sure my mum will really appreciate any comments left for her!  Big hugs xxxx

Chocolate Baroque Patchwork Landscape

Hello blog lovelies!

I have been so excited waiting for my new Chocolate Baroque stamps to turn up, they're so pretty!  I bought the new Patchwork Landscape set, and here's my first card made with one of the stamps......

I stamped the image onto watercolour paper and used Tombow pens and water to colour it.  The background was made using a Dylusions stamp that happily matches the swirls on the tree!  I stained the ribbon with the same ink as I used in the picture and on the mount.
I hope you like it, it's quite different for me recently!!  Please leave me a comment so I know you've visited, I love to read them! :) xxxxxx
