Happy Birthday Louisa!!

Hello bloggie friends!

I've made a card for my friend Ann's daughter, Louisa, Happy Birthday for tomorrow sweetie!!

I saw a card very similar to this on Facebook that had been made by a lady called Belinda, for Elizabeth Craft Designs.  The birds are made from Elizabeth Craft Designs dies called Birds 709, and the word is  Hello 722.  The leaf stamp is a dylusions stamp from the Further around the edge set.
I sprayed the background with dylusions inks, stamped the leaf design, then bleached out some of the ink from the leaves with water.  I LOVE doing this... so therapeutic!

I had a good day yesterday, this is what my craft 'space' looked like on Saturday...

...and hubby was not impressed!!  So he took me to Staples, bought me some draw units...
and now my craft 'space' looks like this!.....

Ahhh, that's better!  Thank you Paul! xxx

Hope you all have a lovely evening, thank you for visiting! xxx

Would you like to send Paul over to sort out my craft room!! Have asked Peter to put some more shelves up....Still waiting! I love the card those little bird dies are gorgeous. Saw them on line and was very tempted. Am busy knitting and sewing for the new arrival at the moment so no time for card making.xxx

Love the card Wendy. The effect with the Dylusions and bleach is lovely. Your craft space looks great - mine isn't that good and I'm not even crafting at the moment!!

Thank you ladies! xx It's so easy to get messy and untidy in a craft space isn't it? I think my hubby finds living with me and my arty mess quite stressful, bless him! :D

Beautiful card Wendy, I also love to use bleach over Dylusions and then paint. Your revised craft space looks very organized. I kept adding shelves & drawers until every space of my little craft room couldn't handle more. When my drawers are full it's time for giving things away. Have a great evening, Shirleyx

Love the colours on the card - really bold. I start to tidy up, find something I didn't know I had and then get distracted into playing with it!

Ha ha fancy Paul tidying your craft space. Don't think I dare ask Dad to tidy mine. I would never find anything again !!!
