Beautiful Begonias!!
Hello bloggers!
Hope you are enjoying this superb weather we are having... lovely for walking dogs and drying washing!
Today's card is going back to my old favourite, watercolours! I've used the beautiful begonia stamp and the new Water droplets 2 from Designs by Ryn. Just as realistic and fantastic as the original water droplets, I love them! :) The dear little sentiment is from Bee Crafty. My fellow Lavinia design team member, Pauline, also designs for Bee Crafty and after seeing some of her lovely work using their stamps I decided to have a look at their website. They have some really great sentiment stamps and some funky ones that are inspired by Banksy - take a look!

Rhedd and Rosie's challenge...
Hello!
I'm posting a couple of cards I made to fit the theme for Rhedd and Rosie's challenge this fortnight, which is 'faux stitching'. These dear little mice are from Penny Black, aren't they cute? Mind you, we've got one of their kind living in our garage at the moment, not sure I think that one is cute lol!
I drew the faux stitching around the edge of the white card with a very sharp, dark pencil and I added 3D gloss to the jam jar and the strawberry to make them nice and shiny.
Well, that's all for today, got school shirts to iron now, yawn! Think I will have a play with my new gelli plate this evening... so worth the money as it got my son off his xBox to teach me mono printing, excellent! :)
Thank you lovely people for visiting! Hugs xxxx

Dylusion inks... lots of them!!
Evening bloggers!
I had great fun making this card... I sprayed lots of strips of card with different colour dylusion inks to make the 'rainbow'. The water trickle and the droplets are from Ryn, and the face is from Inkylicious.
I put 3D gloss on the tear trickle which gives it extra life. I hope she cheers up soon! :)
The card looks a bit 'wonky' in the picture, it's quite tricky taking photos with my iPhone but the card is straight, honest!
Also wanted to say hello and thank you very much to my new followers, much appreciated.
Thanks for visiting today, love it if you could leave me a comment! ;) xxxxx

Lovely, lovely sun!
Happy Sunday afternoon bloggers!!
Inspired by the lovely sunshine we've been having this weekend, I decided to make a sunny card with Lavinia stamps. I've used the Tree Stump, small Felicity, Willow and Poppies, all available on the Lavinia website! I used PanPastels to make the background, much easier and quicker to use than distress inks...
Don't forget, if you have a blog, (and some Lavinia stamps!) you can enter the Lavinia Stamps Challenge. The theme this month is 'Bright and Beautiful' and you could be in with a chance of winning £40 to spend in the Lavinia website!! You don't have to be the best, the winner is chosen at random so don't be shy, have a go! :)
Thank you for visiting and big hugs if you leave me a comment, I really do appreciate them!! :D xxx

New stamp from Ryn!!
Hello bloggers!!
Very exciting.... here is my first play with Ryn's new Rising Bubbles stamp! It looks so real doesn't it? I've also used her beautiful Left Corner Mermaid, Kelp and the single fish from the School of Fish set.
The background is water coloured with a mica sheen. The mermaid's tail has some pretty stickles on it, but that doesn't really show up unfortunately! I really hope you like this one, I've been 'designing' it in my head for weeks lol!!
Thank you so much for the stamps Ryn, I shan't come out of my study now for weeks..... :)
Cheers to my visitors, hope you'll leave me a little comment to say hi! xxxxxxx

Alcohol inks and Ryn's Kelp stamp
Hello Bloggers!
I'm worn out today after my lovely trip to Alexandra Palace and the Big Stamp Show, but I did manage to have a little play with some alcohol inks today as I managed to buy some glossy card from the Clarity Stamps stall. This is my first attempt at making a background with alcohol inks, I used 2 shades of blue and silver. It made a sort of marbled effect with a sheen from the silver, I was quite pleased with the effect!
I stamped the kelp from Ryn and the sentiment from Clarity Stamps using Versafine ink, it did take a long time to dry though! Here's a close-up so you can see that silvery marbled effect....

From pretty.... to grungy!
Hello bloggers!
I've gone from pretty pink, to grungy green today! I made the tag with dylusions ink sprays, and made the 'ghost' of chicken wire using a TCW stencil. The flowers are Stampendous rununculus field and the word is from Inkylicious.
Off to Ally Pally Stamp show tomorrow... ooh, what shall I buy???? Maybe see some of you there!
Thanks for popping by, please leave me a lovely 'hello' comment so I know you've 'been'! :D xxxx

Lovin' da pink!!!
Good morning!
Ooooh, I'm just loving using pink at the mo, and Celtic Star 2 from Ryn looks so good in pretty pink and silver...
Oh I so don't want to go back to school next week, my crafting time will be severely reduced ha ha!! I'm just very glad that my daughter is happy to iron for a small fee, I just wouldn't keep up with parenting and 'housewifely' duties otherwise.... ;)
Thank you so much for visiting, and for all the lovely comments you super ladies leave for me! You are all twinkly stars!! :D xxxxx

Something delicate...
Hello bloggers!
I've had a weekend off crafting, and this morning I thought I'd lost my mojo!!! So after staring at my craft 'stuff' for a while I started to play with some pink toned PanPastels.... and this is what I ended up with...
It's quite delicate, and painting that Celtic Star 2 from Ryn was hard work because I couldn't be bothered to go upstairs and get my glasses!! :D
I'm really excited at the moment... can't wait for all my new stamps to arrive from Ryn and also really looking forward to going to the Stamp show at Ally Pally on Saturday, I expect loads of you will be going too!
It's my son Ben's birthday today... he's just officially turned into a teenager... although he's been behaving like one for sometime now lol!!! Happy Birthday Ben, love you loads! xxx
Thanks for visiting :) xxxxx

Hummingbird, African Daisy and Leafy Branch...
Hurrah, it's Friday!!!!
Today I've been playing with watercolours and salt again... but I went for greens rather than blues this time!
I've used Ryn's Flying hummingbird 2, African Daisy and Leafy Branch. The little sentiment is from Inkylicious. I coated the flower in enamel embossing powder to give it a nice shine and stuck seed beads in the middle. Hope you like!! :)

Craft stamper challenge entry...
Hello lovely bloggie people!!
Today I decided to enter (at the last minute again!) the Craft Stamper challenge. The title of the challenge is Faux Airbrushing Technique. I've made mine using PanPastels in turquoise. I stamped the fish over the top of the PanPastel section in Dried Marigold distress ink and then removed the panpastel from inside the fish with a rubber. The Koi stamps and the water droplets are from Ryn - I just never get tired of using these stamps, they're so versatile!

This was quite a quick card to make, PanPastels are so easy to use and blend and you can easily rub out any mistakes so they are really user-friendly!
Thank you for visiting my little blog, come again soon! :) xxxx

I've used Ryn's Patio Stone stamp, and her pretty African Daisy stamp here. The sentiment (which is quite apt for Mum as her middle name is Joy! :) ) is from Bee Crafty. Here's a super pic of Mum with all our Cavaliers, Monty, Rosie and Mum's Poppy!
Thank you for visiting! :) xxxxx

Hummingbird tag
Hello bloggers!
Oooh, lovely day - the sun is out and the sky is blue... but its flipping freezing! :)
So nice to see the sun though, I hope it stays for a while.
I've had fun this morning making this brightly coloured tag with Ryn's beautiful stamps. I used Flying hummingbird 2, Water droplets and African daisy. The water droplets should be back in stock sometime this week apparently... so you can place your order soon at www.designsbyryn.com !!

I stuck little black seed beads in the middle of the daisies to give them a bit of dimension. The hummingbird is coloured with Tombow pens and the background is coloured with Tumbled glass distress ink.
I hope you like it! Thanks for visiting today, please leave me a 'hello' message, I love reading them! :) xxx

April Lavinia Challenge!!!
Hello Bloggers!
It's time for a new Lavinia challenge... this month the theme is 'Bright and Beautiful', I had great fun making my card for this challenge!
It's time for a new Lavinia challenge... this month the theme is 'Bright and Beautiful', I had great fun making my card for this challenge!
The background was made with dylusions spray inks, lemon zest and cut grass I think. The Vine leaves were stamped with Adirondack Bottle. The Fairy house was stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink.
I used 3D gloss on the windows and on the little red toadstools, and liquid pearls on the spots on the right hand toadstool. Star dust stickles are dotted around the houses too, but they don't show up very well in the photo!
All the stamps used here and the ink pads can be bought from Lavinia stamps.
Hope you all have fun entering the challenge, don't forget to read the rules! :)
Thanks for popping by, and thank you muchly for all your lovely comments, I do appreciate them! xxx
