I was lucky enough to go to one of Karen Clare's fabulous 'tarmac technique' classes (nothing to do with potholes or driveways!!). The class was held at The Artistic Stamper in Faversham. Here's what I made using the technique....
We used lots of embossing folders to get all that lovely background texture....
and added die-cut shapes and stamped sections to add interest.
We rubbed metallic paints and waxes over the background and shapes, which is why the clock looks different colours in each photo, depending on the light! The class was fab, and if you get the opportunity to go, I can thoroughly recommend it! For more information, look at Karen Clare's blog by clicking HERE.
Thanks for popping by, I hope you like my clock! xxxxxxxxxx
